Follow the developer's published loop, with interface details from linked player captures reviewed on 12 October 2026. These are source records, not a claim that this site's editor played a session.

1. Dig until the meter is green

At a dig site, hold the shovel and release in the green meter zone. Follow the prompts until the find appears. See digging for the recorded timing sequence.

2. Finish one fossil set

Track one creature in the Fossils menu. The captured Cambrian DNA panel needs five fossils of that creature; other creatures' fossils fill different rows. See set requirements.

3. Dr. Ivy grows an egg

Bring the completed set to Dr. Ivy's DNA Lab. Select Get Egg on its completed row; an incomplete row shows Need more fossils.

4. Incubate and feed

Place the egg in an unlocked incubator and follow its displayed timer. After hatching, keep Belly over half. The captured feed menu puts food in the hotbar; on keyboard, hold it near a ranch dinosaur and press F. Meat costs 12 coins and veggies 8 in that capture; choose food matching its diet.

5. Ride

Select a Partner and check its stage. The captured tooltip makes it rideable from Subadult. See riding; the exact mount input on each device remains undocumented here.

Questions

Can I combine different creatures' fossils?

The DNA panel tracks each creature separately. Mixed finds do not complete one creature's set.

Do I have to reach Elder to ride?

The captured Partner tooltip says riding begins at Subadult, rather than Elder.
