The fossil pickup capture provides a direct XP observation: +30 XP on a Common Trilobite result. The separate dinosaur growth mechanic should not be used as a player-level formula.
- Practice the digging sequence and inspect the result's XP label.
- Compare your player XP bar before and after a reward instead of inferring progress from dinosaur size.
- Read the current in-game boost description before planning a session around a reported code.
- Treat old creator progression advice as advice, rather than a measured optimum.
